Hakim Ferria

The floor is given to Hakim Ferria, Infrastar project manager:

The project ended and time to take stock has come. Overall, the objectives have been reached. Factually speaking, all deliverables have been delivered in due time. Knowledge and improved methods have been elaborated and are applicable so that they improve the sustainability of bridges and wind turbines, and thus, they can contribute to the socio-economic and environmental development for progress of society.

Beyond of that the ESRs completed or are currently completing their PhD degree, and half of them are now working in the industry. Many connections have been made and I hope that researchers, engineers, etc., and organisations have benefited from the project with new knowledge, new business connections and new colleagues or friends.

What I liked the most within that project was to connect with lots of people from so many different background in all aspects (cultural, scientific, and so on). I have today priceless memories, especially with the ESRs ("what happened within Infrastar stays within Infrastar").

Finally, I would like to warmly thank all the people involved in the project in all degrees of involvement. Thank you all for your trust, and your great help to ease my work to make the project running smoothly.
