Lifetime cyclic behavior

Vibrational and cyclic loading solicitations can be considered silent (quasi-elastic) but they possibly results in a low but progressive degradation/damage of the structure and foundation. The change of structures under the impact of cyclic loading is inevitable. It remains challenging how to accurately predict this evolution. There are three long-term issues that can possibly harm the structure: accumulation problems, dynamic problems and fatigue problems.
