Monitoring and auscultation

Monitoring and auscultation are the application of techniques for testing materials and structures. For structures, characterize the structural deformation, structural acceleration (the frequencies and shapes of the different modes of vibration), measure climate conditions and structural displacement. For materials, monitoring and auscultation enable the inspection of corrosion, cracking, crack growth and the strain or load measurement.
