Integrated dynamic analysis

Integrated dynamic analysis refers to the simulation of a wind turbine response for a given environmental condition (wind, wave, current, soil), where the complex interaction between the soil, support structure, hydrodynamic loads, aerodynamic loads and wind turbine control are considered. Certification of the design of wind turbine and its support structure requires assessment of structural integrity for both Ultimate Limit State (ULS) and Fatigue Limit State (FLS), which are usually evaluated using time domain dynamic simulations.
