3 Minutes Thesis

Three Minutes Thesis is a worldwide contest developed by The University of Queensland (Australia). The first competition was held in 2009 and is open to all PhD students. The participants are challenged to effectively present their research in 3 minutes (180 seconds), in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. They are allowed to only have one single PowerPoint slide.

ESR2 Antoine Bassil participated to the French contest "Ma thèse en 180s" in Nantes the 2nd of March 2017. He presented his research on Fibre-optic sensor for fatigue monitoring. Then, he has been selected to the regional final.
